Clinical presentation
- Poorly nargubated hypopigmented macules that favor the trunk, but may involve the proximal extremities and head/neck
- Afro-caribbean population
Diagnosis
- Fluorescence localized to the follicles is pathognomonic
- May be related to cutibacterium acnes bacteria within hair follicles
Treatment
- UVA
- Topical benzoyl peroxide
- Topical clindamycin
