  • Migrate via MICROTUBULES into melanocyte dendrites

    • Kinesin, dynein, dynactin → movement of melanosomes into dentrites
      • Defects in GRISCELLI syndrome (mainly myosin Va or RAB27A)→ defect in the ability to transfer pigment from melanocyte to the keratinocytes (not pigment production)
        • Silvery hair, pigmentary dilution, immunologic and neurologic fts
