- Teo or more cutaneous stigmata
- Lipoma
- Acrochordon, pseudotail, true tail
- Aplasia cutis and congenital scars
- Dermoid cyst or dermal sinus
- Infantile segmental hemangioma, >2,5cm
- Intermediate risk
- Atypical dimples: >5mm diameter, >2,5cm from anal verge
- Infantile hemangioma <2,5cm
- Hypertrichosis (faun tail or silky down)
- Low risk - don’t require imaging
- Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation
- Melanocytic nevi
- Simple dimple: <5mm diameter, <2,5cm from anal verge
- Teratomas
- Port-wine stain (capillary malformation)/telangiectases
Evaluation for for Spinal Dysraphism
- <3 mo: Ultrasound at an experienced academic institution
- >3 mo: MRI under anesthesia
- Refer to neurosurgery based on results of imaging
- High risk = 2+ lesions, lipomas, dermoid cysts/sinuses, segmental hemangiomas
