Clinical presentation
  • Simple brownish or highly pigmented macule
 
Dermoscopy
  • Reticular
 
Classification
  • Lentigo simplex
  • Lentigo solar → in sun-exposed skin
 
Histologia
  • Thin rete ridges with bulbous tips
  • Increased basilar pigmentation but little to no increase in melanocytes
  • Agrupamento em pequenos agregados de melanócitos, menos em tecas
  • Often with underlying solar elastosis (in Solar Lentigo)
 
DDx
  • seborrheic keratosis
