- Single, circumscribed, scaly, slightly pigmented lesion
- 3-10 mm in diameter
- Resembles seborrheic keratosis
- Sun-exposed area

- Acanthosis due to hypertrophy of keratinocytes, which are twice the size of adjacent normal skin cells
- Orthokeratosis and hypergranulosis
