Clinical presentation
  • Single, circumscribed, scaly, slightly pigmented lesion
  • 3-10 mm in diameter
  • Resembles seborrheic keratosis
  • Sun-exposed area
 
Epidemiology
  • Elderly
 
Histology
  • Acanthosis due to hypertrophy of keratinocytes, which are twice the size of adjacent normal skin cells
  • Orthokeratosis and hypergranulosis
