Eczema de Contacto Foto-Alérgico

  • Mechanism
    • Combination of photoallegen and UVA/UVB
    • Cell mediated hypersensitivity to an allergen activated by the effect of light on a drug/substance
  • Etiology
    • Drugs:
      • Medicação tópica
        • topical ketoprofen
      • Medicação sistémica (o fármaco distribui-se pela circulação e a exposição UV fotoativa o fármaco na pele)
        • thiazide, sulfonamides, sulfonylureas, phenothiazines, quinine, tricyclic antidepressants, griseofulvin, NSAIDs
  • Clinical presentation
    • Resemble eczema or lichen planus
    • Lesions are pruritic
    • Clinically has bullous reaction showing lines because of patient scratching
    • No Eritema facial, o fundo das pregas estar poupado sugere fotossensibilidade
