Pruritic follicular papules and pustules on the trunk, arms, neck and occasionally the face

Fisiopatologia
Yeast products and free fatty acids produced from the fungal lipase cause inflammation (similar to acne - c. acnes can convert sebum in short chain fatty acids that cause inflammation)
Diagnóstico
KOH: only yeast forms are observed, no hyphal - no “spaghetti and meatballs” like pityriasis versicolor
Tratamento
Uma dose de fluconazol (antigamente cetoconazol - evitar)
