    • Haemophilus ducreyi, gram negative bacillus
  • Epidemiologia
    • Common in sub saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, Cuba
    • Was the first cause of African GU before AIDS
    • Rarer but still present (Central Africa, Madagascar, India)
  • Incubation
    • 3-7 days
  • Apresentação clínica
    • Painful, well defined ulcer with undermining edge
    • Bubos
    • Local invasion
    • “You do cry with ducreyi”
    • Some cutaneous ulcers in children Afreica/Oceania resembling yaws
