Blistering Distal Dactylitis

  • Local infection of the volar fat pad of a finger or toe (usually distal)
  • Etiologia
    • Strep Pyogenes or S. Aureus
  • Epidermiologia
    • Children
    • HIV
  • Apresentação clínica
    • Pode ocorrer após trauma local ou inoculação de mexer no nariz
    • Escurecimento da zona afetada do dedo alguns dias/semana antes do aparecimento da bolha
    • Very often there is infection of the pharynx, from which it spreads to the tip of the finger
  • Tratamento
    • Drenagem
    • Antibiótico oral durante 10 dias
      • Cefradina (cefalosporina 1aG) 1000mg 12/12h
      • Se suspeita MRSA: doxiciclina, bactrim
